RENTAL POLICIES

RATES AND BOOKING INFORMATION
The minimum age to rent a property from Stay and Play Hood is 23 years of age. Valid identification is required upon check-in. All minors (those under the age of 18) must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or adult over the age of 23 years old.

Rates are based on double occupancy and do not include county and state tax. There is a $20 fee for each additional person beyond the original two occupants. Children the age of 12 and under stay for free.

Depending on the property, a 2-night minimum stay may be required. All properties require a 5-night minimum stay during the holiday season (December 23 – January 4.) Rates are adjusted based on number of people, number of nights and season.

Credit card payment for first night is due at time of booking. Full, non-refundable payment is due 30 days prior to arrival date, 60 days during holiday periods.

A $10 Reservation fee will be processed for every reservation. This fee will be waived for all drive-up bookings.

Trip Cancellation Insurance is available from CSA Travel Protection and protects against various forms of trip interruption and cancellation. Acceptance of this insurance must occur before the final payment is paid. The premium for this insurance is 5% of the total bill of the reservation. Please ask us for details.

If you should experience a scheduling conflict with your reservation and notify us 30 days prior to the arrival date you have two options: The first (1) option is to RESCHEDULE for a fee of $100. The $100 Reschedule Fee will be deducted from the deposit and the balance will be held as a credit on file for one year. The second (2) option is to CANCEL your reservation. A $150 Cancellation Fee will be deducted from the amount paid and the balance will be refunded in the original form of payment.

No refunds made pending satisfactory inspection of unit after departure. You will be responsible for damage, theft, extra cleaning, lost keys, items moved from one unit to another or extra people.
 
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check-in and check-out will take place at Headquarters: the on-site management office at Collins Lake Resort. The address is 88149 E Creek Ridge Road, Government Camp OR 97028

Check-in time is 4pm. Let us know 48 hours in advance if you will need a later check-in time.

Check-out time is 11am and we respectfully ask for your cooperation in maintaining this guideline. Please advise Headquarters if you will need an earlier check-out time. Tenants may be charged an additional night’s rent without stay for late check-out.

Before departing, we ask that you wash dirty dishes and put them away; start the dishwasher if there are dishes inside; pile the dirty linens in the clothes hamper; close and lock the windows; close the drapes and blinds; turn the thermostat down to 55°; take the trash to the main trash can and turn off the lights, fireplace and appliances.

Upon departure, please lock all exterior doors to the property. Check-out and turn in your keys at Headquarters. You will be charged $25 for lost keys.
 
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
Our units are cleaned after each stay. Daily maid service is available for a fee. Arrange this service with Headquarters upon arrival.

The following amenities are provided for your convenience: conditioning shampoo, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, dish towels, toilet paper, trash bags, bath towels, bed linens and fully equipped kitchens.
 
POLICIES
Smoking is PROHIBITED inside all dwellings on the premises.

At no time shall a property from by Stay and Play Hood be used for a party or commercial purposes.

Curfew for all properties is 9pm. Refrain from making excessive noise after this time.

Clackamas County Fire Code has set occupancy limits for all units. The limit for this unit is a53 and cannot be exceeded for any reason. Renters in violation of this code may be evicted and will forfeit entire rental amount paid.

The renter shall pay any and all legal fees to the owner and agent if any action or suit shall be brought about by the owner or agent for the recovery of rent due, reimbursement of damages, cleaning or other expenses incurred by the renter.

Stay and Play Hood shall have the right at any and all times to enter and inspect the premises.

Stay and Play Hood reserves the right to evict at any time any guest who is not in compliance with the above stated policies. There will be no refunds due to eviction due to non-compliance with our policies.
 
OTHER
Depending on the property, pets may be allowed. If so and tenant brings pet, there is a $75 fee per pet, plus any extra fees for damage or cleaning that must be done due to the pet(s).
