THE ARTS CABINS PROJECT
Art & craft instruction in our beautiful Mt. Hood community. Located in the Village of Government Camp at the 3,800ft. Level of Mt. Hood. Former Forest Service Cabins outfitted with studios for blacksmithing, torch work glass, fiber arts as well as painting/ drawing. Drop in on a demonstration or join a workshop. Also available for private studio use as scheduleds allow. Be inspired by the beauty of The Cascades.

MT. HOOD MUSEUM AND CULTURAL CENTER
Located just down the road, the museum provides a place where local history and art can be recognized, interpreted and preserved. Initially platted as Pompeii, the Village of Government Camp, whose name originates from the 1849 abandonment of government cavalry wagons and supplies, has always been rich with colorful characters and events. The museum will showcase and preserve our local heritage. In addition, a community center is available to the public with computer terminals and wireless high-speed internet.

WY' EAST BOOK SHOPPE AND ART GALLERY
Welcome to a comfortable gathering place on the mountain and on the web, featuring Northwest authors and artists. The Wy'east Book Shoppe & Art Gallery was established in 1997 to provide a gathering place for book lovers and art enthusiasts in the community. We've recently expanded to include a computer center as well as pack and ship services.
